Warm Pear Almond Crumble (Print)

# What you'll need:

→ Pear Filling

01 - 6 ripe pears, peeled, cored, and sliced
02 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
03 - 3 tbsp granulated sugar
04 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
05 - 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

→ Almond Crumble

06 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
07 - 2/3 cup ground almonds (almond meal)
08 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
09 - 1/3 cup light brown sugar
10 - 1/3 cup sliced almonds
11 - 1/4 tsp salt

# Directions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
02 - In a large bowl, combine sliced pears with lemon juice, sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Toss to coat evenly and transfer to a greased 9-inch (23 cm) baking dish.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix flour, ground almonds, brown sugar, and salt. Add cold cubed butter and rub with fingertips until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
04 - Fold sliced almonds into the crumble mixture.
05 - Evenly sprinkle the almond crumble over the pear filling in the baking dish.
06 - Bake for 35 minutes or until the crumble is golden and the pears are bubbling.
07 - Allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Optionally serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
