08 - 8 small flour tortillas, 6-inch diameter
09 - 8 slices cheddar cheese
10 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, for frying
→ Toppings
11 - 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
12 - 1 large tomato, diced
13 - ¼ cup dill pickles, sliced
14 - ¼ cup diced red onion
15 - ¼ cup burger sauce (store-bought or homemade)
# Directions:
01 - In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef, breaking it apart evenly. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Continue cooking until beef is fully browned, approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in ketchup and mustard and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes, then remove from heat.
02 - Wipe skillet clean and heat a thin layer of vegetable oil over medium heat to prepare for assembling tacos.
03 - Place one flour tortilla in the hot skillet, top with a slice of cheddar cheese and a generous spoonful of the seasoned beef. Fold the tortilla in half, pressing gently to seal. Cook for 2 minutes per side until the tortilla is golden brown and cheese is melted. Repeat for all tortillas.
04 - Fill each cooked taco with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced pickles, and red onion. Drizzle with burger sauce. Serve immediately.
