- Chips & Base: 300 g (10 oz) sturdy tortilla chips
- Cheese: 250 g (2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese, 100 g (1 cup) shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Toppings & Field Decorations: 120 g (1/2 cup) sour cream (for field lines), 2 ripe avocados mashed (for field base), 100 g (1/2 cup) prepared salsa, 100 g (1 cup) chopped cherry tomatoes (for fans or decoration), 1 small red bell pepper diced (for corner flags), 60 g (1/4 cup) sliced black olives, 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).

- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned about 5&7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Step 3:
- Stir in taco seasoning and 2 tbsp water cook 2 minutes. Add black beans cook 2&3 minutes to heat through. Remove from heat.
- Step 4:
- Arrange tortilla chips on a large rimmed baking sheet or platter in a rectangular field shape.
- Step 5:
- Spoon beef and bean mixture evenly over chips. Sprinkle with both cheeses.
- Step 6:
- Bake 8&10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 7:
- Cool slightly. Spread mashed avocado in a smooth layer to mimic a green soccer field leaving a border of visible chips.
- Step 8:
- Fill a piping bag or zip-top bag with sour cream. Snip a small corner and pipe field lines goal boxes and center circle onto the guacamole field.
